General Care Tips

Last on, first off: Put your jewellery on after applying perfume, lotion, hairspray, or makeup. Take it off before washing hands or bathing.
Avoid water: Remove jewellery before swimming, showering, or doing dishes. Prolonged water exposure can dull metals and loosen settings.
Keep away from chemicals: Household cleaners, chlorine, and beauty products can damage metals and gemstones. Always remove jewellery before cleaning.
Remove during exercise: Sweat can tarnish metals over time. Take off your pieces before working out.

Storing Your Jewellery

Store each piece separately to prevent scratching — use the pouch or box provided with your AEREÉ order.
Keep jewellery in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity.
For silver pieces, use an anti-tarnish pouch or cloth to slow oxidation.

Cleaning Your Jewellery

Gold-plated pieces: Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cloths or polishing pastes that can strip the plating.
Silver pieces: Use a silver polishing cloth to restore shine. For deeper cleaning, use a mild soap solution and a soft toothbrush, then dry thoroughly.
Gemstone pieces: Wipe with a damp cloth only. Avoid soaking stones as water can affect the settings and certain stones adversely.

When to Take a Break

Even the finest jewellery benefits from rest. Take off your pieces when sleeping, to reduce the chance of bending, tangling, or snagging.
